Preschool Programs

Our Preschool Programs are designed for children who are three or four years old by September 30th.  Our Preschool 3’s Plus 4’s will accept children who are three years and eight months old by August 31st. However, a teacher’s recommendation is necessary.

  • Preschool marks the beginning of all active learning. Our curriculum covers all the major competencies that will prepare children for kindergarten.
  • Activities strengthen hand and finger muscles, improve hand-eye coordination and prepare each child for proficiency in writing.
  • Language, both acquisition and oral practice, create initial connections between speaking, writing and reading.
  • Social competencies are formed as children are taught to recognize, identify and express their feelings.

In addition, children are encouraged to become capable problem solvers; to reflect on actions and predict consequences; to practice and gain proficiency in self-help skills; to recall and relate past experiences; and to think about times and places other than the here and now.

Equally important, the children learn about Shabbat and other Jewish holidays and are introduced to the concept of tzedakah and Jewish values.
