Help Communities Affected by the Hurricanes

1. Jewish Family Services of Western North Carolina (JFS) has taken the lead on many of the collections and distributions in the region. They secured food from World Food Kitchen, and FEMA has been delivering water, along with additional supplies from other non-profit agencies.
2. Nechama – They are a Jewish organization, but serve everyone. They already are mobilizing volunteers for day trips to the area to assist in recovery. They are crucial because they are the kind of organization that stays in communities for the long-term recovery. (For NC and FL)
