Family Programming

Events

At the core of the TBJ community lies the value of developing and deepening relationships.

Family Programming was officially established at Temple B’nai Jeshurun in 2018 and has been an opportunity for building community through positive experiences. The intention is that families who come to our programs will connect on a more personal level with one another as well as with the TBJ clergy and educators. This is at the heart of what matters deeply to us at TBJ.

Each year the Family Program hosts Shabbat services and dinners, brunch, Chanukah Family celebrations, Super Bowl Shabbat, a Challah Bake Program, and more. In addition, there are special Tikkun Olam Programs for families with children in grades Kindergarten through 2nd as well as for 3rd through 6th grade. Striving to empower children to make a difference in the world, these programs are usually held on Shabbat mornings here at TBJ and have been inspiring and impactful.

All of these intimate, family-centered activities help bridge your child and family’s experience to the broader synagogue community. Whether you are coming from the ECC to the Religious School or are new to TBJ, we would love to have you with us.

In deepening our relationships with our parents and children, we make TBJ a congregation to call home.
