After School Activities (ASA’s)

Our After School Activities Program has something for everyone! We offer classes that will engage our Playschool 2’s through Kindergartners. Options include a variety of Team Sports, Gymnastics, Yoga, Martial Arts, and Creative and Performing Arts. Each class is run by a talented specialist.

 

Our ECC teachers supervise these incredible classes to ensure that familiar faces are always there to cheer on and support each class. The excitement can be seen and heard throughout the building!

 

To sign-up for our ASA Programs, students must be enrolled in our ECC. All families receive information with the links to enroll in our Spring sessions.

Monday

Option 1: Little Rockers

45 minutes of directed music, movement, singing and musical instrument play. The owner/instructor Jessie is amazing and brings different instruments that are age appropriate each week and incorporates music that the children know and love.

 

Option 2: Amorosi’s Mixed Martial Arts

Martial Arts training helps our students focus their minds, balance their bodies, and build confidence in their abilities- physical and mental. Our Preschool, Pre-K & Kindergarten programs have evolved to include martial arts technique, training in coordination, balance, and cognition.

Tuesday

Option 1: Excellence Soccer Touch

This class includes fun filled games that will help refine gross motor skills, as well as develop social awareness and listening skills. Activities in this class will continue to develop basic soccer skills such as dribbling with their heads up, changing directions, and spatial awareness.

 

Option 2: Yoga

45 minutes of yoga fun and games specifically tailored for our young yogis. Children use creativity and sharpen skills for focus while working on different poses including animals, traveling under the sea, playing “toe-ga” and other activities that are sure to bring some zen to your child!

Wednesday

Option 1: MyGym

Classes will focus on developing strength, stamina, and agility in relays, conditioning exercises, games, team-building and, of course, varying sports that change every week.

 

Option 2: Taste Buddies

Children will focus on a fun theme, read a related story and create a step-by-step decorated cupcake, cookie, mini cake or dessert. All ingredients are peanut/tree nut free, and children will taste as they create but bring their edible masterpieces home with them. Sweet Samantha is a two-time Food Network competitor, cake designer and teacher of all things baked and beautiful!

Thursday

Option 1: Sports Frenzy With Coach Zach

Coach Zach has been TBJ’s beloved sports coach for years now and this class is full of non-stop fun! Each week, children will play a different sport and practice the throwing, kicking, dodging and scoring skills that go along with each game!

 

Option 2: Art for Everyone

Art For Everyone in Livingston is an art program for children that sparks students’ imagination through different artistic mediums. Children will unlock their originality and creativity while having fun and making a mess! Art for Everyone provides the tools and teaches the skills, while introducing new projects each week that help children build self esteem and discover their love for art!

 

Option 3: Zumba

Miss Donna is a powerhouse of energy and fun and gets everyone up and moving! She uses contemporary music that the children know and love with beats that they can’t resist, coupled with age appropriate Zumba choreography. This class is not only super fun but is a great mix of movement and exercise.

Friday

Option 1: Go for the Gold Gymnastics

We have designed a program for your preschooler that is creative & motivating. At this age gymnastics is the best way to develop a child’s strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and self-esteem. We introduce preschoolers to gymnastics equipment and take a step-by-step approach to teach all of the basic gymnastics skills.

 

Option 2: Paper Mill Playhouse

We are Broadway Bound! Our students can bring their dramatic flair and imagination as they embark on a journey into the world of the talented Paper Mill Playhouse Theater School. These classes are a wonderful introduction to the world of theater for the imaginative child, as children bring their favorite fairy tales and characters to life through music, movement, and pretend play. Children will be introduced to the basics of storytelling and performance, while working together on games and exercises that serve as a fun-filled outlet for creativity.
