Assistant Teacher Position

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with young children in our beautiful indoor and outdoor learning environments to support their growth and development.
Assist the Head Teacher in implementing a developmentally appropriate, engaging curriculum that nurtures all areas of each child’s development while recognizing individual learning styles and needs.
Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, social-emotional growth, and confidence.
Help maintain a healthy, safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment.
Collaborate closely with the Head Teacher and other faculty members to create a positive, supportive, and team-oriented classroom culture.
Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism and respect for all children, families, and colleagues.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and attend Temple-wide programs and seasonal celebrations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.
Passion for creating joyful, innovative, and meaningful experiences for young children and their families.
