Kesher Communities

 

Kesher means “connection,” and these small groups are a chance to learn, create, and build community. These will be member-led groups of up to 10-12 people, where members can connect through shared passions and interests.

Poppy’s Garden was dedicated in honor of Peter Hirschmann z”l 100th birthday.

Open to volunteers of all ages. Teens are welcome, if under the age of 13, please plan to come with an adult.

Summer Study Group

We will be studying chapters from Avivah Zornberg’s Genesis: The Beginning of Desire. 

The group will meet 11:00am-12:00pm on the following dates:

Creative Writing Workshop

 

Open to adults of all ages, all writing abilities, and all experiences. Prompts will be given during each gathering to write something original and share with the group. Please bring a notebook or paper and a writing implement. No judgement zone!

Crafting Corner

Knitters, crocheters, needle pointers, and other crafters are welcome to bring their projects to share ideas and create together.

Culture Club

 

Meet up with TBJ members at local museums, concerts, shows, and movies.

Jewish-Themed Book Club

Gather to discuss a Jewish-themed book. Can choose to join in person or virtually.

Environmental Advocacy

Join together to better understand community needs and engage our community in environmental awareness and action.
