Books Available for Purchase, Plus a Few to Take Home Free

Over the years, some remarkable voices have joined us at TBJ: rabbis, authors, and thinkers who brought their books along and their stories to our community. We still have copies on hand, several of them signed, and we would love for them to find their way to your bookshelf.

The collection available for purchase reflects the range of Jewish life itself. There is Rabbi Angela Buchdahl’s memoir (signed) on faith, identity, and belonging; a sharp and timely look at confronting antisemitism today; two works of fiction exploring Jewish history and identity; a warm children’s book perfect for Shabbat evenings, a thoughtful guide to living with ADHD written by a member of our own TBJ family; and a book that reimagines Torah study as conversation and partnership.

We also have a small selection available to take home at no cost, including Jonathan Haidt’s The Anxious Generation, Danny Danon’s In the Lion’s Den, and Mark Gerson’s God Was Right: How Modern Science Proves the Torah Is True. First come, first received.
