Special music and sermon celebrating America’s Semiquincentennial

Special Torah Study in July: Jewish Wisdom on the Declaration of Independence
Saturday, July 4th on Zoom, July 11, 18 & 25 | 8:45 AM

In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, Pardes faculty bring Torah into conversation with the Declaration and explore freedom, equality, responsibility, and purpose through a Jewish lens.

Timed for July 4th and the season surrounding it, this is an invitation to engage with Independence Day not only with celebration, but with learning.  At a time of deep division and uncertainty, this project invites something different: a space for thoughtful study and meaningful conversation.

TBJ is proud to be part of Millburn’s community tile wall celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary!

A special thank you to our talented artists – Linda Levi, Gail Waimon, Felicity Siderman, and Olivia Shidler – who created beautiful tiles reflecting themes of freedom, nature, and unity. Their work now joins the contributions of many local artists and organizations in this inspiring community display.

Be sure to visit the wall at the Bauer Center and experience the full mosaic of creativity and collaboration. Thank you as well to Jackie Lieberberg and Sapna Gupta from the Township of Millburn for helping bring this meaningful project to life!
