Blessing for Pride

May it be Your will, O God,

God of Ruth and Naomi, God of David and Jonathan, God of Joseph,

God of all our LGBTQ ancestors

Grant that this Pride month bring joy and celebration,

And bestow upon us: a life of safety, a life of healing,

A life of love and support, a life of blessing and sharing of gifts,

A life free of shame and reproach, a life of friendship, partnership, and love in the ways we wish to give and receive it, a life with dreams of the future.

Ruach HaShalom, Spirit of Peace and Wholeness, open our eyes to the gifts and blessings we offer and receive from each other; open our hearts to welcome each other fully and truly; open our hands to embrace, to support, to lift each other with joy, with song, with peace, and with deep friendship.

Today, as we celebrate Pride and community, let us walk together with strength, compassion, and love. Amen.
